HOW TO VOTE in the United Kingdom
The 2019 European elections in the United Kingdom will take place on Thursday 23 May. Citizens of the UK and other EU member states resident in this country and aged over 18 can vote, provided they are registered to do so by 7 May.
There are three different ways to vote:
- In person at a local polling station based on your home address
- By post
- Or by proxy (appointing someone to vote on your behalf).

Yes, but if you are from another EU country (except those from Cyprus, Ireland and Malta) not only do you need to be registered, but you also need to complete a voter register form for these elections. Check out this website.
The voting system for the European elections is by proportional representation using a closed list: voting for a party or an independent candidate.
